It encourages creativity, analytical thinking, and effective communication- empowering budding data scientists to convey impactful stories that inspire decisions and highlight the true power of data.

Data Pravachan - Data Storytelling Event

Guidelines

Each participant must report to the venue 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
Each team can have 2 members.
Three datasets will be provided to all participants 1 week before the event.
Participants must analyze the given datasets and represent their findings visually - through chart papers, Tableau, or Power BI.
Each participant must present a clear narrative or story derived from the data, explaining the insights effectively.
Creativity, clarity, and analytical reasoning will play a major role in evaluation.
Presentation must be completed within 5 minutes and 2 minutes for questionnaire.

Event Format

Participants will analyze provided datasets and create compelling data stories using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or chart papers. The presentation should effectively communicate insights through a clear narrative, demonstrating analytical thinking and creativity.

Outcome

Participants will develop skills in presenting data through impactful stories and visual. They will learn to communicate insights effectively, bridging the gap between analysis and understanding.
